TGIF

This week was pretty rough, but I got through it.  My group presentation ended up being fine, a lot better than I initially thought.  My chemistry test went well, thanks to Derek's tutoring. I am pretty sure I only missed one problem.  

This weekend should be fun.  Derek and I are going to the verizon store so he can get a new phone.  I love shopping, even if its not for me so I am excited.  We are also going to go to the casino here in Pullman tonight, which will be fun.  It will be Derek's first time at a casino, so I'll have to show him the ropes since I am a pro, haha.  

I also have to do a lot of homework tonight, especially psychology.  I am really behind in that class since it is online and I feel like I can put it off. 

Well, it is time to get ready for my chem lecture, I will be posting later.

Ah, the weekend is here!

So it is Friday and I am really glad.  I have so much homework and stuff do for next week.  On Thursday next week, I have a group presentation in my biomedical ethics class, I have to present an essay in my queer studies class, and I have an exam in Chemistry.  ughhh!!!!  This week is not going to be fun.  I am going to have Derek help me with Chemistry because as he always says, "I invented chemistry." I'm very lucky to have a boyfriend that is good at stuff I am not, aka math. 

Hopefully I will go to the football game tomorrow, but I don't know if I will seeing as how I am bogged down with homework and studying.   And hopefully, the team will actually win. Actually, if they just don't get absolutely destroyed, that will be a huge improvement. 

Alright, time to go to my second chemistry lecture of the day. (Last Wednesday my chem class had a fire alarm so after waiting 30 minutes outside, I just left. I missed a few minutes of stuff that he talked about when we went back in, so I am going to go to the lecture today at 2 to catch up.)

Never thought that I would blog...

So I never imagined myself blogging away and talking about my life.  But as I am in college now and don't have much time to talk to people from home and give frequent updates, I figure that people can read about my o so interesting life at WSU. 

So far, I am having a really good time. I love the independence and freedom. 

My classes:

MWF- Chemistry from 12:10-1 and then a lab on W from 2:10-6

TTh- Biomedical ethics (Phil 365) from 9:10-10:25  and then Queer Studies (WSt 484) from 1:24-2:40.

And I also have an online class-Abnormal Psychology (Psych 333)

I am enjoying my classes for the most part.  I don't like, nor am I good at math, so chemistry has been pretty difficult so far.  Biomedical ethics is my favorite class, it is really, really interesting.  Queer Studies (introduction to gay and lesbian studies) has been really difficult, but interesting at the same time.  I feel really uncomfortable in this class most of the time because I don't want to offend anyone or say something stupid. I guess I just need to get over it, especially since part of our grade is based on participation.  I have completely put aside my psych class because there are no due dates for the assignments until the last day of semester.  I will get working on that soon though.

I am playing intramural soccer with some friends and that has been pretty fun. We are 2-0 so far.  I also go to the huge rec center and work out, play volleyball, or indoor soccer.  It is really fun.  Derek makes me go when I don't feel like it, so that is good. 

Alright, I am pretty tired now. I guess I will be posting updates occasionally.
